Tina is an appraiser in the Capital Office. She began her career with BC Assessment in June 2013 as a PIC in the Burnaby office and has worked in the VSS and Surrey offices. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management.
Tina was elected as Regional Director for the South Island Region in the fall of 2017. She was previously a Regional Director of the North in 2015-2016. In 2020 she was elected as President.

Kevin is a Senior Appraiser in the Courtenay office and has been with BC Assessment since 1990, starting in the Dawson Creek office. Over the years he has had residential, commercial, industrial, farm and MIP experience and spent a number of years as the res team leader in Courtenay before expanding his development land expertise to cover all of Vancouver Island as their subject matter expert.
Encouraged by the previous president, Mike Meyer, he initially sought a one year backfill term as a Trustee, then was re-elected for a three year term. Subsequent to that he was the North Island Regional Director until becoming President in 2005, a position he held until he stepped down in 2017.
He is motivated by a strong desire to maintain and improve the working conditions of all employees in BC Assessment, to encourage and mentor younger labour activists and to improve the level of communication and education within our Local.
Jared is a business consultant in Head Office in the Business Transformation Division. Jared started at BC Assessment in January 2003, was a temporary employee for two years and returned in 2005 and finally became permanent in 2006. Jared became active in the union first as an alternate rep, then area rep and later a region director. He was elected to the vice president role in 2012 and then elected to the president role in 2017
Regional Director of South Vancouver Island
Tom is the Senior GIS Analyst at head office. He has worked with BC Assessment since May 2008. He has been an alternate area rep and an area rep for Information and Technology Services. Tom was the Regional Director for South Vancouver Island from the Fall of 2012 to 2017.
Regional Director of North Lower Mainland
Mark began at BC Assessment as a Temporary PIC in the Burnaby Office in 2014. He was hired in his current role as an Appraiser in 2016 and is now in the Vancouver Office. Mark was an Alternate and Area Rep in VSS for two years before being elected as Regional Director for the North Lower Mainland in March, 2019.

Paul was a Summer Student in the Kamloops office in 1991, a Temp Appraiser in the Matsqui office in 1992, and became full time Appraiser in the Nelson office in 1993 after completing the Realty Appraisal and Property Management Programs at Vancouver Community College. Paul moved from Nelson to the Cranbrook office in 2006 moving into a Senior Appraiser position. He has been the Alternate Area Rep in the Nelson Office from 1994 – 2006. From 2008 – 2015 Paul has been a Union Trustee auditing the Union’s financials twice a year. Paul was elected Regional Director for the Kootenay Region in 2015 and is currently chairing the Tech Change Committee and is a member of the Grievance Committee, Education Committee, and Wellness Committee.
