The communications committee has evolved over the last few years from what was the website committee. This change has happened because of our ever increasing use of social media including Twitter and Facebook. As of writing, our facebook group has 209 members and 275 followers on Twitter.

The next evolution of this committee will be to develop a communications plan for the local
that will look closely both at how we deliver information within our membership as well as how and when we deliver information externally. This plan will also look at how communications are coordinated among all of our platforms.
