Not all offices are consistently holding regular OH&S meetings and/or posting minutes to the shared drive as required. This is an ongoing issue that must be addressed to ensure we are

in compliance with the Act. If local members are in agreement that no meeting is required this needs to be documented and posted on the server accordingly to ensure compliance with the collective agreement articles 29 and Workers Compensation Act Division 4, sections 137 & 138.

AED’s have been delivered to all offices and installations should all be done. . Location of the AED device will be communicated to local office staff. Each local office is responsible for setting up training for their Occupational First Aid Attendants.

There is a Ministry of Environment cougar and BC Park bear safety links posed on the OH&S page und the health and safety tips section at the bottom right of the page as well as many other videos that may be useful. This is a reminder to ensure new PICs or appraisers have viewed and are aware of these for the summer months since servicing will be going on.
