This June I attended my first Public Service Pension Plan board meeting this was a steep learning curve as the first meeting had approximately 900 pages of material to review prior to the meeting.
The next meeting is scheduled for September 2015 during that meeting there will be more research into plan design and what to expect for redesigning the plan to maintain its sustainability over the long term.

The next Public Service Pension Plan Advisory Committee meeting is scheduled for the end of October Rav Punia from the Abbotsford office has been selected as someone who is interested in attending Union related events and he will attend on behalf of CUPE 1767 as a delegate for this one time.

Hopefully, this encourages other members to participate in other committees that may be open for joining in the near future
