The biggest event that will politically affect our union is the next Federal Election this October. An avenue to become more involved in protecting our union rights and largely worker rights is to reach out to CUPE BC and CUPE National. The political action committees of both CUPE branches have typically created phone banks from where volunteers can offer their support to the New Democratic Party.
