The Telework committee has been working diligently to get all the wrinkles ironed out before the application process goes out for those waiting to apply. The guidelines and policies are being reviewed by your union executive and expect that applications will be ready to go by the end of June. This seems to have been taking what seems to be a long drawn out process, but in saying that we wanted to make sure this is a success and not a failure and reading and re reading and making it work for the employer and the employee is key we want to limit Barriers and continue growth of telecommuting for the future.
