The Union filed a grievance with the intention of resolving a “rounding” issue with expense claims. A claim for 30 km at $.50 per km would come back at $14.99. Seemingly nonsensical to be sure, particularly in this day and age. The grievance has not been resolved but the employer has agreed to round errors temporarily by hand.  There is talk about not continuing making these corrections.  The grievence is in abeyance until October 31st.
