Jared Featherstone

Since beginning at BC Assessment in 2018, Jared has had a keen interest in giving back to his coworkers through union work, first being elected as an Alternate Representative for the Kamloops office in 2019. From that point on, Jared has continued to gain knowledge and experience in helping his fellow coworkers through the roles of Area Representative, then Regional Director before finally being elected to his current role as Grievance Officer at the 2024 AGM. He remains committed and passionate towards fighting for our rights as unionists, and hopes that his enthusiasm can help spread to other members in our local for many years to come. If he's not in the office or at the grievance table, you can most likely find Jared at the golf course swearing he hit the ball in shorter grass than he is currently looking in, cheering on his favourite sports teams or spending well earned time off with family and friends.
