Bargaining Update: Week 3 (Nov 3-7, 2025)

by | Nov 7, 2025 | Bargaining, Bargaining 2025

Greetings folks!

Your bargaining committee met with the employer this week and made some progress toward reaching an agreement that reflects your priorities and values the work that we do.

There’s still more work to do, so both sides have agreed to meet again in a couple of weeks to continue working through the remaining issues.

Where things stand in bargaining

We know many of you are following bargaining news from other public sector unions across BC. Each table has its own circumstances and priorities, but we can say that the offer currently on our table does not yet reflect the kinds of gains being discussed or achieved elsewhere.

We’re staying coordinated with our CUPE and labour partners and continuing to push for an agreement that meets the standards being set across the broader public sector.

We remain committed to reaching a fair deal that recognizes the important work CUPE 1767 members do every day to add value to communities across BC.

Thank you for your continued support and solidarity. We’ll share another update after our next bargaining dates.
